I know the many benefits of yoga firsthand.

More than 12 years ago I learned I had Multiple Sclerosis. I began to practice yoga in order to manage my symptoms. Through a continued routine of yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathing techniques) in combination with a healthy lifestyle, I enjoy strength, good health and a continued sense of wellbeing.

Seven years ago I became a certified yoga teacher. I have been trained in classical Hatha Yoga and Classical Taoist theory, training practicum and professional ethics and practices. I have also taken many workshops and have attended national yoga conventions where I have had the opportunity to study many other styles of yoga including Anasura, Ashtanga, Forrest Yoga, Power Yoga, and Thai Massage.

Throughout the years I have had the privilege to teach all age groups from toddlers to healthy adults, as well as those dealing with physical issues. I have also taught prenatal and postnatal yoga.

Teaching others to take care of themselves through yoga is my way of giving back the gift of peace, comfort and strength that has been imparted to me.
