What kind of yoga is Shanti Moon Yoga?

A combination of Hatha Yoga with a Taoist infusion. There is strengthening, and stretching, combined with breathing and meditation. Although the sessions are not easy – they are designed to help people extend their limits - clients regularly report a feeling of calm and relaxation that lasts for days.

How frequent are the sessions?

We will create a personalized yoga program for you that meets your needs and budget.

How long does each session last?

Usually one hour.

How many sessions will I need?

The goal of Shanti Moon Yoga is to teach each client techniques that he or she can practice at home or use in group sessions. However, if you prefer the personal attention of private sessions you may continue working with Carol indefinitely.

What kind of progress can be expected?

Many clients report that they achieve a sense of calm, wellbeing, strength and energy almost immediately. People who had problems sleeping before, are able to consistently enjoy restful nights’ sleep. These results can last for as long as you continue to integrate yoga into your life.

Who is Shanti Moon Yoga for?

Ideally, candidates are adults who are ready for an individualized yoga experience. Many of our clients are beginners but people at all levels of experience are welcome. Shanti Moon Yoga’s facilities are not accessible to those who require mechanical assistance such as walkers or wheelchairs.
